Funeral services for Wayne Irvin Royse, 74, of Oktaha, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Glen Little officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Reich, Josh Brooks, Jason Stewart, Richie Melton, Jeffrey Melton, and Thomas Melton. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Martin, Tony Downey, and Justin Cantrell. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

Wayne was born July 25, 1939 at Muskogee, OK, the son of Troy and Wilma (Fletcher) Royse and died Monday, April 14, 2014 at his residence in Oktaha. Wayne worked as a butcher and later retired from Holloway Construction Company. He loved outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and gardening along with spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Kathy and Nick Reich of Martin, Tammy and Jimmy Martin, Shelly and Scott Brooks, Connie and Jarrod Melton all of Fort Gibson, Jeff Royse and Whitney of Oktaha; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Jerry Royse and Linda, Ronnie Royse, Harold Royse and Gail all of Muskogee; two sisters, Jo Evelyn Roland and Kelly of Muskogee, Helen Brassfield and Rodney of Braggs; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents,Troy and Wilma Royse; sister, Shirley Burns; and brother, Darrel.
