Martha I. Alexander

1923 - 2013

— Funeral services for Martha I. Alexander, 89, of Porum, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Webbers Falls, OK, with Reverend Pat Alexander officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Phillip Alexander, Roger Alexander, Andy Alexander Jr., Jimmy Lee Alexander, Don Benton, and Ron Reaves. Burial will be in Tom Girty Cemetery in Webbers Falls, OK, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.

Martha was born July 18, 1923, in Porum, OK, the daughter of Jesse and Lillie (Rattler) Toney and died Tuesday, January 29, 2013, in Muskogee, OK.

Martha grew up in the Ross Community and attended Ross School. She was a life-long resident of the Porum-Webbers Falls area and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She married Cecil Alexander who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Gerald Wayne Alexander and wife, Judy, of Hope, AR, Linda Jean Duty and husband, David, of Porum, Imogene Alexander of Porum; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; parents; brother, Jon Rider Toney; and sister, Willie Alexander.
