Mary Ann Highers

1935 - 2013

— Mary Ann Highers was born on October 10, 1935 in Muskogee Oklahoma to Ralph Hugh and Mary Louise King. Mary went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 2, 2013.

Mary attended Muskogee Central High School in 1953, coming to Bryan County in January 2009. Mary was in the nursing field and a member of the Hospital Auxiliary in Durant and Muskogee. Mary loved animals and enjoyed shopping, movies, and being with her family; children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as “Greemaw,” “GG,” and “Grandma” by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved her dearly and loved her great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; son Perry Ray Falconer; stepmother Sally King; grandmother Bama Morton.

Mary is survived by her brothers Jimmy Stewart and wife Annette of Centennial, CO, Eddie King and wife Donna of Norman, OK; sister Janie Rhodes and husband Jerry of Schertz, TX; son Ralph Falconer and wife Debbie of Durant, OK; daughter Rory Highers-Lynch of Muskogee, OK; grandsons Jason Falconer and wife Laura of Norman, OK, Jeremy Falconer and wife Katie of Durant, OK, Conner Lynch of Muskogee, OK; granddaughters Jessica Keeling and husband BJ of Durant, OK, Grace Lynch of Muskogee, OK; great granddaughters Hannah Falconer of Norman, OK, Haedyn Falconer of Norman, OK, Kenlee Falconer of Durant, OK, Josie Keeling of Durant, OK; niece Laura King of Norman, OK; cousin Carolyn “King” Blevins and husband Clayton of Muskogee, OK.

Memorial Services will be held at Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Clayton Blevins will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service Durant, OK.
