Johnny Ray Milligan

1958-2013

Funeral services for Johnny Ray Milligan, 54, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee with Brother James Farmer officiating. Pallbearers will be Dusty Taylor, Justin Taylor, Bobby Harris, Gary Jones, Ronnie Milligan, and Jonathan Alexander. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Milligan, Robert Harris, Dakota Basham, Chris Harris, Dwayne Milligan, David Adcock, and Wayne Milligan. Burial will be in Brushy Mountain Cemetery.

Johnny was born December 24, 1958 at Wynnewood, OK, the son of Earnest Leo and Mary Alice (Hacker) Milligan and died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Tulsa. Johnny married Brenda Tarwater in Ardmore, OK. He had attended schools in Oktaha and Muskogee, and worked as a loader for King’s Down Mattress Company.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home; three daughters, Raelynn Basham, Amanda (Milligan) Jones and husband, Gary, and Ashley (Milligan) Alexander and husband, Jonathan, all of Muskogee; mother, Mary Milligan of Muskogee; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Milligan and wife, Judy, and David Adcock and wife, Barbie, all of Muskogee; two sisters, Dona Taylor and husband, Jeff, Avonda Harris and husband, Bobby, all of Muskogee. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Milligan.
