— Private family services for James Franklin Ford, 68, will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort  Gibson, Oklahoma, Thursday March 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. Memorial Services for James Franklin Ford will be held at Fort Gibson Methodist Church on Thursday, March 7, 2012 at 11:30 a.m.  

James was born January 11, 1945 at Alexandria, Virginia, son of Robert Francis and Helen (Woods) Ford.

James died March 3, 2013 at Talihina Veterans Center.

Survivors include his children, twin daughters, Patty and husband Ricky Dester of Checotah, Rhonda Ford of Okay, son, J.R. and wife Jessica Ford of Muskogee, , mother of his children, Carol Ford of Okay; one sister, Anita and husband Barney Williams of Muskogee, two brothers; Gary and wife Vikki Ford of Maryland, Dennis Ford of California, special friends, Jim and Edy Holland of Muskogee, 9 grandchildren; one more on the way, and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Judy Ford and one brother, Bobby Ford.
