Vincent James Krops Jr.

1957 - 2014

Vincent James Krops Jr. was born August 25, 1957, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Vincent James Krops, Sr. and Elsie (Raun) Krops. Vincent was raised and lived in the New York City area most of his life. He truly was an avid New York sports fan. He followed the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.

Vincent was a mover by trade and enjoyed his work. He had worked professionally for moving lines such as Mayflower and Allied.

He met “his angel”, Lena Cooper, during a time of transition in his life and they were married on August 30, 1997. Known to her as “Jimmy”, they spent the past 17 years making a home and life in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Vincent departed this life on July 9, 2014 at his home at the age of 56.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Lena Krops of the home; four children, Victoria of New York, Kimberly of New York, Jaime Krops of East Quogue, New York, and Matthew Krops of East Quogue, New York; two stepdaughters, Mari Walker of Erick, Oklahoma and Jayne Yochum of Muskogee, Oklahoma; three known grandchildren, Patrick, Sierra Sky Walker, and Noah Krops; three sisters-in-law, Sally Brock of Cairo, Georgia, Thomissa Sparks of Greenville, Florida, and Cindy Dallis of Park Hill, Oklahoma; special niece, Meri (P-nut) Dallis; nephews, Travis Sparks and family stationed in Fort Hood, Texas and Jonothan Dallis; as well as other extended and special family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Vincent will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
