Michael G. Francis

1966 - 2012

Michael G.  Francis went to be with LORD on Monday, October 8, 2012, at the age of 45 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Mike was born November 6, 1966 in El Paso, Texas. He was known for always being a loving brother and unconditional friend. He had a kind nature and sincere heart that was filled with a passion to see the best in everyone. He dedicated his life to the ones he loved and took his greatest joys from being a part of their life.

Throughout Mike’s battle with Huntington’s disease, he never wanted to be a bother. From his best days to his most difficult days, you could ask him how he was doing, and he would always reply with a smile and “I am Ok.” He had a strength and endurance that brought tears to your eyes. He wanted to be independent and was always quick to help, and when he couldn’t help…he would apologize because he did not want anyone to carry his burden. He found pleasure in listening to others, caring about their needs and being a devout friend to everyone that knew him.

Mike…you were a True Gift from God. You brought light into a room with your joy and positive outlook on life. You were never shy to give someone a compliment or extend a gracious thank you. Truly, you represented the Fruits of the Spirit in every way. We are all better individuals for knowing you and for you allowing us on your journey. You will be greatly missed but we know we will see you again.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Huntington‘s Disease. Donations came be made to Huntington’s Disease’s website @ www.hdsa.org/donations.
