Funeral services for Calvin Leo Burr, 71, of Porum, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Porum Assembly of God with Reverend Kenneth Clay and Wayne Lindsey officiating. Pallbearers will be Dennis Burr, Mathew Burr, Dustin Burr, Fred Shamblin, Stoney Shamblin, John Cotner, and Terry Lack. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery in Porum under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.

Leo was born September 23, 1942 at Porum, OK, the son of Alfred Daniel and Addie Arzilla (Blackwood) Burr and died Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home. Leo was a graduate of Warner High School and lifelong resident of the area. He attended the Porum Assembly of God and, prior to retirement, worked as a machine operator for Container Corp. On May 23, 1977, he married Stella Benton in Whitefield.

Survivors include his wife, Stella of the home; children, Angela Wert and Jeffery of Porum, Dennis Lee Burr and Tamra of Guymon, OK, John Cotner and fiancée, Sandra Dowling, of Porum, Dana Denise Burr of Muskogee Debra Delores Lack and Terry of Tahlequah; brother, Jack Burr and Phyllis of Broken Arrow; sister, Brenda Christian and Bob of Muskogee; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alfreda Christian; and grandson, Jeffrey Calvin Wert.
