James Elvis Pool

1937 - 2013

James Elvis Pool was born on Sept 5,1937 and passed on May 14, 2013.  He was a wonderful husband, father, mentor, teacher, and your very best friend. He always wanted to "check in" to see how you were, loved the land, his home and working outside. He always hated winters, because he couldn't be outside working in the yard or having a "project" to work on.

Elvis was preceded in death by his wife, Rexana, his son John, his sisters, June Buck and Ruth Isaacs, and his parents, John and Erma Pool.

He is survived by his sister, Dee Bruce and her husband Gail, twin brother Elbert Pool and his wife Carol, daughters, Darleen Blair, Cynthia Bishop and her husband Roy, Cara Capps and her husband Herman, Michelle May and her husband Brad, and son, Jim Pool and his wife Patty, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

He was truly a one of a kind, very special person that can't be replaced, and will be missed more than you know by all that that was blessed to know him.

Memorial service will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Checotah, OK on May 24, 2013 at 1 p.m.
