Woodrow Wilson

1920 - 2011

Muskogee, OK – Woodrow Wilson born May 6, 1920 to Noah C. and Carrie (Johnson) Wilson in Smithville, OK, passed from this life on April 14,

2011 in Muskogee, OK, at the age of 90.

Woodrow served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He started out working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs as an accounting

specialist in Anadarko, OK and retired 35 years later in Muskogee.

Woodrow was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially watching them play sports. He loved church and attended the First Indian Baptist Church in Muskogee.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lillian Marie “Mickey” (Goombi) Wilson; Brothers: Rodney and Freeman Wilson; sisters: Narcissa

Wilson and Ramona Harjo; and infant brother Vernon.

Left to cherish the memory of Woodrow include his brother Curtis Wilson; Sisters: Mae Wilson, and Edwina Malaske; four children: Pamela Sue

Roughface, Wilmon Wilson and wife Pam, Rodney Wilson, Curtis Wilson and Cletus; as well as a host of other family and friends.

A wake service is scheduled from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the First Indian Baptist Church in Muskogee with Pastor James

Farmer officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend.

A celebration of life will be held 12:30 PM Monday, April 18, 2011 at Timothy Baptist Church in Muskogee with Pastor James Farmer officiating. Interment will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Pastor J.T. Goombi officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Boston, Ronald Alexander, Bryatt Alexander, Damon Smith, Acee Allen, and Mark Allen. Honorary Pallbearers

will be Wayne Terapin, Cletus Satepauhoodle, Tim Goombi, Wesley Nash, George Nash, and Mike Nash.

The family has entrusted Bradley Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements. Friends may send condolences to the family on the website www.bradleyfuneralservice.com.
