Virginia Jean Calvert

1933 - 2014

Funeral services for Virginia Jean Calvert, 80, of Fort Gibson, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Pastor Perry Flerchinger officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

Virginia was born June 30, 1933 at La Crosse, Wisconsin the daughter of Roy and Edna (Hare) Murray and died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Muskogee. Prior to retirement, Virginia was a restaurant manager.

Survivors include her children, Denise Carter and George of Okay, Debra Barr of Cottonwood, AZ, Ginny Hernandez and Albert of Riverside, CA, Darrell Harvey and Nedra of Enterprise, OK; grandchildren, Vernon Shaffer, Darrell Shaffer, Raymond Scott, Jennifer Apple, Lola King, Katy Wilson, Gordan Harvey, Charley Harvey, Virginia Edwards, Junior Harvey, Craig Hernandez, Michelle Winiecke; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Liz Cravens of Utah. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Willie; and parents.

In memory of Virginia, the family prefers memorials to the V.F.W. Post 8798, P.O. Box 823, Eufaula, OK. 74432.
