1949 - 2014

Marsha Louise Staggs, 64, of Muskogee, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Health Care Center.  She was born September 18, 1949 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to Charles Francis and Opal Marie (Brahm) Severence. While growing up, Marsha’s family lived in many different areas before returning to Muskogee. She and Jim Staggs married in 1969. Marsha was a loving mother, enjoyed fishing and being involved at Grandview Tabernacle.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Staggs; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Diaz; sons, Timmy Wayne Staggs and Zekeial John Staggs; brother, Bud Severance; sister, Elita Ann Kelly; brother-in-law, Ross Staggs and his wife, Barbara; sister-in-law, Reba Martin; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Grandview Tabernacle with Brother Bobby Wingo officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Yount, Fred Kiser, Sr., Fred Kiser, II, Larry Crabtree, Stephen Crabtree and Michael Cully.
