John David McAnally

1985 — 2013

John David McAnally, 28, of Muskogee, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013. John was born April 1, 1985 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Robert Leon McAnally and Susan Marie Prophet (Lovelady). John graduated from Muskogee High School in 2003 and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. John loved spending time with family and friends. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing video games, watching storms and bike riding. He also enjoyed reading and writing.

He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Mary Stetson; grandmother, Wilma Lovelady; great grandfather, Aubra Lovelady; Grandfather, Bill McAnally; his father, Robert McAnally; and one Aunt, Brenda Brock.

John is survived by his parents Susan and Shannon Prophet; grandparents, Harley and Gloria Lovelady; grandmother, Roberta McAnally; two brothers, Nickolas McAnally and wife Danielle and Kyle McAnally; Uncle Michael Lovelady and his wife Mirna; aunts, Donna Bess, Nancy Szymik and her husband Gary; Uncle Frank McAnally; Aunt Kathleen McAnally; Uncle Mike Wimmer and wife Jimi; Uncle Darren Wimmer and wife Rose; niece, Dollie Ren McAnally; special cousins, Bryan Brock, Gail Saunders, Maggie Szymik, Jake Szymik, Jared Cox, Ashley Frazier, Aaron Granger, Pat Parker, Jacob Tinsley, Jessica Legarda; and Uncle Gene Brock.

Funeral services celebrating John’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Timothy Baptist Church with Rev. Kelly Payne Officiating. Pallbearers will be Nickolas McAnally, Bryan Brock, Kyle McAnally, Loren Holloway, James McAnally, Eli Wimmer and Jake Szymik. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Grimes, Jacob Tinsley, Jonathan Schinkoeth, Jared Cox and Aaron Granger.
