Betty Lou Don Carlos


Betty Lou Don Carlos, 84, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 in Muskogee. She was born September 13, 1929 in Byars, Oklahoma to Olivett Farley and Ruth Elizabeth Lewis Farley. Betty Lou attended Muskogee High School 1945-1947. She was a beautician and worked in sales. Betty Lou’s hobbies were decorating, flowers, playing with her pups, fishing, and traveling. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eufuala, OK. Betty Lou was an Eastern Star member as was her mother.

Betty Lou married Robert B. Don Carlos on August 30, 1980. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by mother, Ruth Elizabeth.

Betty Lou leaves behind her daughters, Kathy Derebery McClung and husband, Mike of Vian; Carol Derebery Napier of Eufaula; grandchildren, Joe and Charity McClung and their children, Tristan and Savannah, and Austin Kelly; Jenny and Cody Bell and their child, Tanner; Justin and Tammy Napier and their children, Jacob Napier, Tiffany and Eric Batman, great great grandchild, Remmi Batman; other family members and friends.  

Funeral services for Betty Lou will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2013 at Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Tom Shelton officiating.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Condolences may be made to the family online at
