Dorothea Allenbaugh

1932-2013

Dorothea “Mush” Allenbaugh, 81, of Gore, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  She was born March 13, 1932 in Gore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arbie and Frankie (Carter) Corley.  She married Thomas Allenbaugh on November 18, 1952 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on December 11, 2006 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  She was the co-owner of Corley’s Oil Company in Gore, Oklahoma and a member of Gore United Methodist Church.  She loved to cook for people and also loved her flowers and gardening.

Survivors are: 1 daughter and son in law: Pat and Bill Cotherman of Gore, OK,  several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Memorial service will be 11 am, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Gore United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Buttram and Pastor Craig Clark officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Cotherman, John Cotherman, Dr. Bert Corley, Dr. Jack Janway, Charles Allenbaugh and Charles Crumpler
