Sergio Filipe Santos

1977-2013

Sergio Filipe Santos, 36, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday evening, October 1, 2013 in Muskogee. He was born to Fernando Santos and Maria Neves on May 21, 1977 in Sangalhos, Anadia, Portugal.

Sergio married Melissa Rae Hallum on October 17, 2008 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. He loved his family and was the best Dad to his 3 kids that they had ever known. He loved to travel and see new places. Sergio worked at Dal-Tile and was known as the “Light of the B shift.”  

He will be missed by his Quida and will always be an angel on our shoulder.

Sergio was preceded in death by his father, Fernando Santos.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa; his sons, Camen and Samuel; his daughter, Thea, all of the home; his mother, Maria Neves; his sisters, Ana Jesus and Sandra Jesus; his brother, Carlos Santos; many other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.

Funeral mass is planned for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mike Knipe celebrant. Pallbearers will be Greg Redwine, Matt Whittiker, and Portugese Men of L.T.P.  Honorary pallbearers will be his sons, Samuel Santos and Camen Prommart.

The family requests an exception to the norm and wishes for you to express your condolences by wearing bright attire to the service.
