Mr. Con D Rose Sallee

1939-2013


— Mr. Con D Rose Sallee, 74, of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, died November 9, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 23, 1939 to Orville Daniel Sallee & Roxie (Williams) Sallee at Lavaca, Arkansas. He spent two years in the Army; drove M41 tanks in Panama from 1957-1959.

He married Anna M. Adams September 20, 1959 at Winter Haven , California. He worked in construction as a superintendent from 1963 until he had to take a medical retirement in 1998 due to Parkinson Disease.

He will be remembered as loving his family and church. He loved fishing, hunting, raising and showing Morgan horses. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Anna Sallee of the home; five daughters, Rhonda Campbell of Stigler, Roxanne Foster of Turlock, CA., Connie Powell of Porum, Chrissy Kindrick of Keefeton, Dodie King of Little Rock, AR; mother-in-law, Dorothy Adams of Webbers Falls; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, 5 brothers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville & Roxie Sallee.

Funeral serves will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Green Valley Baptist Church in Webbers Falls with Reverend Andy Webb officiating.

Pallbearers include John Hediger, Jim Leitch, Jimbo Sallee, Aaron Moore, Chad Sallee, Aaron Pearson.

Burial will follow immediately at Pope Chapel in Webber Falls under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
