Ruby Lee Siedlik

1937-2013

Ruby Lee Siedlik, 75, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, September 9, 2013.  She was born November 11, 1937 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Chesley Leroy McCage and Florence Rose Nolen McCage.  Ruby married Junior Joe Siedlik on April 1, 1964 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  They celebrated 32 years of marriage.  Ruby loved playing bingo and slot machines, fishing, and mowing yards.  Her greatest pleasure was playing with her grandkids and helping them with their homework.  

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior; sons, Larry Turner and John Siedlik; three brothers; four sisters; grandsons, Jody Kessler and Jeremy Bell; and step grand daughter, Sheryl Siedlik Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Sally Kessler and husband, Robert, Kathy Bell, Sherry Goodman and husband, Harold, all of Muskogee; stepchildren, Joe Siedlik, Danny Siedlik, Bobby Siedlik, Rosalie Harvey, and Shirley Ann Vanblaircon, all of Muskogee; nine grandchildren; fourteen step grandchildren; and thirty great grandchildren.  

The family would like to express a special “Thanks” to Rivercross Hospice of Muskogee, Jonda Andrews, Teresa Stevens, Kay Martin, and Tammy Harless for all the love and care for Ruby.

Funeral services for Ruby will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Tammy Harless officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah with David Siedlik, Justin Kessler, Leon Turner, Joey Turner, Daniel Turner, and Charlie Bell serving as pallbearers.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Condolences may be made to the family online at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com
