Irma B. Conley


Irma B. Conley, 96, died Thursday September 12, 2013 in Muskogee, OK. She was born September 7, 1917 in Kirksville, MO to Ralph and Mae Belle Vice. She was the owner of Conley Furniture alongside her husband, Curtis Conley for 20 years and also worked for Sears for 23 years. Irma was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the American Business Women’s Association. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 70 years and was recently honored as the church’s longest living member.

Irma is survived by daughters, Guyla Miller of Muskogee, OK, Marcia Farris and husband Ken of Allen, TX; grandchildren, David Oliver, Nancy Oliver-Adams, Jill Oliver-Owen and husband Kent, Doug Farris and wife Kim, Brian Farris, Anna Grisham and husband Michael; great grandchildren, John Leak, Adam Leak, Ben Owen, Kendall Owen, Paul Farris, Caleb Farris, Conley Oliver, Kealey Oliver, Chloe Farris; great great grandsons, Kale Owen and Cooper Leak.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis; sister, Thelma McCasling; grandson, Steven Oliver; and great grandson, Conley Oliver.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Irma B. Conley will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Bill Crow officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Oliver, Doug Farris, Brian Farris, John Leak, Adam Leak, Ben Owen, Kendall Owen, and Kealey Oliver.
