Diana Sue Megli

1953 - 2012

— Diana Sue Megli, age 59 passed this life on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 23, 1953 in Clinton, Oklahoma to her parents Carl Robert Megli and Betty (Benson) Mason.

Diana attended Hydro High School and was a 1971 graduate in Moore, Oklahoma. She was always very active in basketball, softball and volleyball while she was in school. After completing high school Diana went on to further her education with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She has worked for IRS for twenty one years. One of Diana’s biggest joys in life was barrel racing, she loved horses and attending the rodeos.

Diana was survived by her mother, Betty Mason of Wagoner, her father Carl Megli of Clinton, Oklahoma, one son; Timothy “Bo” McGee of Porter, Oklahoma, one brother; Robert Megli of Tucson, Arizona and three beautiful grandchildren Timothy, Adonis and Donald, along with a host of her rodeo friends and family members who are going to miss her dearly.

 A memorial service for Diana will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Shipman Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, Oklahoma with Reverend Theo “Doc” Benson officiating.

 Another memorial service will be held on a later date by her Rodeo Family. In lieu of flowers the Megli family request memorials be made to the Susan Komen Cancer Fund, 5110 S. Yale Ave., Tulsa, OK  74135.
