Edward Neal “Tiger” Fulkerson

1939 - 2013

— Edward Neal “Tiger” Fulkerson passed away January 1, 2013.

Tiger was born December 22, 1939 to Willie Ruth and Hubert Welcome  “Mick” Fulkerson.

He was raised in Muskogee attending A R Junior High and Muskogee High School, graduated in 1959. He was always proud to call himself a warrior and lifetime Rougher. He ran the chains for Alice Robertson Junior High, West Junior High and Muskogee High football games from 1960 to 2000. After High School he attended Bacone College. He then went to work in our family business, Carnation Milk Company where he worked until 1970. From 1970 to 1995 he worked for Yaffee Iron and Metal. His Hobbies other than running chains at Football Games. Included bowling, playing and coaching softball and working out at the YM C A.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Willie Ruth Fulkerson, father Hubert Welcome Fulkerson and older brother Hubert McKinnely Fulkerson.

He is survived by his brother, Merle Fulkerson, of Clearwater Florida, sisters, Martha Karpoff of Albuquerque, NM and  Kathleen Martin of Muskogee and brother, Doug Fulkerson of Muskogee three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; six nieces and two nephews

A funeral service will 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with Douglas Fulkerson officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
