Judy Carol Cook, 61, of Ft. Gibson, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Tahlequah City Hospital. She was born April 25, 1948 in Muskogee, to Wilhelm and Dorothy (Jones) Borovetz.
Judy was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents; husband, Floyd Tackett; son, Brian Tackett; daughter, Brenda Tackett and sister, Lana Boothe.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Tackett of Ft. Gibson and Tommy Tackett of Muskogee; grandchildren, Amanda (Tackett) Smith and her husband, Dan, of Muskogee, Marcus Tackett of Nordheim, Texas, Tyler and Nathan Wilhite of Billings, Missouri, Jacob Tackett of Hawaii, Misty Tackett of Cherrvale, Kansas, Ryan and Eric Tackett of Connecticut, Kaitlyn and Crissy Tackett of Missouri and Hunter and Caden Tackett of Tulsa; daughter-in-law, Janiece Smart of Nordheim, Texas; very special friend, Jerald Windler of the home; sister, Linda Borovetz of Muskogee; uncle and aunt, Bobby and Jane Ann Jones of Claremore; aunt, Elizabeth Jones of Muskogee, uncle, Oscar Borovetz of Muskogee and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Judy loved her church family at Ft. Gibson Freewill Baptist Church where funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 with Pastor Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee. Pallbearers will be Justin Kyle Justice, Greg Easterling, Roger Boothe, Anthony Coppin, Kevin Coppin, Tyler Wilhite and Nathan Wilhite.
