Published June 19, 2008 03:47 pm - THE PEOPLE SPEAK: Lack of party support disgusts Dist. 2 voter U.S. Rep. Dan Boren needs to change to Republican. I am disgusted at Boren’s refusal to endorse our Democratic nominee for president of the United States, Sen. Barack Obama.
If he thinks he can’t support our nominee, he needs to change his voting registration to Republican. I have always voted Democratic and supported Democratic nominees. However, this fall when Boren comes up for re-election, I will not support him. And I will do my best to get all of my friends and relatives and all the Democratic voters in District 2 to vote for someone else. Debbie Gipson Muskogee
