THE PEOPLE SPEAK: Time to take stand against more spending

I see unrepairable damage being done to our country. My opposition to President Obama has to do with the future debt he is running up. People, states and cities have mouth-watering joy that they are getting money from the government with no regard that America can’t afford this giving away.
This continued printing of money will lead to big inflation, causing more job loss and more failing of businesses. Do we bail out California? Who is next?
In three months, Obama has increased our national debt to more than all the debt incurred from 1776 through 2008 put together. We now have more unemployment, too much government takeover of private industry and banking that needs to be run by a free market.
Now our health care through the Medicare system will go away, and we will go to a socialized medicine like Canada and other countries that offer poor benefits.
Even Russia with their failed socialized system is telling us that it won’t work.
We never should have given money to banks or automakers. We should have made them reorganize or go bankrupt, then built back from that point with better management.
I’m not sure we have not gone too far already to come back from a deeper recession with higher inflation, along with too much of a downsized military for our country to exist as the world’s leader. We are falling down to a third world country status.
We need to go back to personal responsibility, less government and put God back into America. So in the 2010 elections, come to our senses, put men in Congress, Democrat or Republican, who will stop this incessant spending and stand against giving away the values of our great country.
