Published July 17, 2008 06:00 pm - Everyone must follow the rules Two state senators say Jerry Regier, who led the health department, was put on a state board just so he could collect a $1,236 monthly pension check. This was after it was discovered he previously didn’t qualify for it because he hadn’t served long enough.
Regier was good for the health department, but he should have to follow the rules no matter how good a job he did. We hope he wasn’t party to something unethical.
