THE PEOPLE SPEAK: Vote for candidates who don’t side with big oil

The winds of change blew last month when 600 renewable energy leaders from 46 countries met at the seventh World Wind Energy Conference.

A global tipping point toward renewable energy is emerging as fossil fuels become more difficult and expensive to obtain. Very exciting discoveries and products are there to achieve independence from big oil, coal and gas. How wonderful that Oklahoma’s tremendous wind power will finally be tapped.

Sen. Jim Inhofe has much to answer for as to why he backed the oil companies with so much money for so long. Rep. George Faught has been following in his footsteps. Just check the record. Follow the money.

Please listen to and vote for Andrew Rice for Senate and Eugene Blankenship as District 14 Oklahoma House representative. How lucky we are that these fine young men have appeared when they are so badly needed to bring the winds of change. Even T. Boone Pickens the oil man is saying yes to wind power.
