The hospital, which is scheduled to open next year, is being built with conservation and sustainability in mind. The facility could possibly earn the highest rating offered by the U.S. Green Building Council and be the first hospital in the nation to gain that distinction. Building with conservation in mind is not just in fashion, but it’s a smart thing to do because it’s economical in the long run. We know other companies and businesses in Muskogee are concerned about the environment, and they are to be commended, too.
