You can share your warmth

You can keep someone warm.

If you haven’t noticed, it is cold out there.

The ninth annual Spread the Warmth Blanket Drive is accepting donations at two locations in Muskogee

The icy blast we have recently been experiencing just highlights the need.

“There’s nothing like handing someone who’s cold a blanket,” said Monica Champ of Volunteers of America Oklahoma.

Find it in your heart to help. Imagine facing the temperatures we are seeing without a source of warmth, then receiving a blanket.

Everything that is donated will be cleaned then distributed in the Muskogee area.

The blankets collected will be given to individuals served by the Volunteers of America Oklahoma and distribution partners.

Blankets donated from Muskogee also will go to the Gospel Rescue Mission.

“You can help keep someone warm this winter,” Champ said.
