THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Former coach’s honor well deserved

Congratulations to Matt Hennesey, former Muskogee Rougher football assistant and head coach, for being named the Tulsa World High School Coach of the Year.

Hennesey took over a Locust Grove program two years ago that had won only two games in the previous three years and led his team to a deep run the the 3A playoffs, ending the year with a school best 12-1 record.  The honor was well deserved.
