Rougher 300 program applauds volunteerism

Muskogee High School’s Rougher 300 program reminds us each year that we have quality young men and women in our community.

The program encourages students to spend at least 300 hours during their high school years doing volunteer work.

Seniors with 300 hours wear a silver cord during commencement ceremonies.

Forty-five MHS students were celebrated during a recent banquet for working nearly 16,250 hours helping others.

That’s outstanding.

We congratulate the students for showing us all how to make this a better world.
