The Smithsonian Institution’s Traveling Exhibition Services will bring the exhibit to the Five Civilized Tribes Museum in the summer of 2015. The “Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America” exhibit will reflect the connection between sports and American culture.
The exhibit is a part of the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program. It will travel all across the United States as an initiative to engage communities to remember their historical societies and culture.
This is an exciting event, and everyone should take advantage of this great opportunity.
