THANK YOU 01.18.14

DECEMBER 26, 2013 in dense fog there was a tragic accident near Fort Gibson. James Arlis Davis lost his life on that day.

While we mourn this loss, we are humbled by the wonderful response from family, friends, and strangers that stepped forward to guide us. Our thanks go out to all, from the police, the medical teams, the young man that stopped & comforted our loved one until help could arrive, Lee’s Towing, and Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Thank you.

I WOULD like to express my personal gratitude to the Muskogee Public Library staff for their faithful assistance to making the Muskogee Patriot Townhall meetings each month an event that is worthwhile for those citizens who take the time to get educated on many topics of vital interest to We, The People.

Recently eight city council candidates participated in the townhall with Mark Hughes, moderator, and Steve Knapp, timekeeper. Questions came from pre-prepared ones which the candidates had received last month and then some wonderful questions from the audience. The library staff made this meeting valuable with their behind the scene work to set up the room, tables, chairs, audio resources, bottles of cold water, Kleenex, etc. I personally am very grateful to them for their caring attitudes and skillful assistance.

Muskogee is very blessed to have a library which provides the many and various services it does and does so well day by day. Thank you, staff.
