THANK YOU 02.08.14

I’d like to say thank you to Chief Bill John Baker and every employee of the Cherokee Nation. We are a blessed Nation of proud people. Our Nation has seen a renewal not seen in years. I’m so excited to see the bountifulness we are blessed with. I’m even more thrilled my daughter’s first word was wado. My granny taught me that if you are thankful for small blessings, bigger blessings are to follow.

Wado,

Rebecca Jean       Littlewing Carleton

The staff of Q.B. Boydstun Public Library in Fort Gibson would like to thank the community of Fort Gibson for making our first Chili Cook-Off a success. Thanks to the contestants who brought great chili and to the members of the community who came out to taste the chili. Thanks also to the Fort Gibson Chamber of Commerce, and all the businesses who helped us advertise the Cook-Off. In addition to the community we would like to thank the following sponsors: Allstar Brankel, Applebee’s, Eastern Oklahoma District Library System, Golden Corral, Rib Crib, and Jason Waldroup, Sr. Last of all we would also like to thank our judges: Chris Fort, Clent Masterson, and Mary Moroney for their hard work. We are looking forward to making this an annual event.
