THE PEOPLE SPEAK – No principles inside Beltway

— A few days ago, the top generals and admirals met with the House Armed Services committee. It was on C-Span. It made me ill. I could only watch for a few minutes at a time. The politicians looked ill, ashamed and badly in need of barf bag. It has taken two wars and 40 years but the bad guys won. Nothing like greed.

From what little time I could stand to watch it, I got some of the following. It will take at least a trillion dollars to get the forces at pre-2000 level. Everyone going back to Afghanistan for the fourth time is automatically declared a mental casualty. By present laws they can’t legally own a firearm. Thanks for serving your country! Again the good ol’ USA can’t afford to hire mental workers that are needed by our veterans.

I am very proud of my somewhat checkered military career. At the present time I feel like putting a whole bunch of fond memories on a fire topping it with my flag.

Pimps and drug dealers own this country. Their are no principles inside the Beltway. Just greed, fear and arrogance.

I’m sorry, Gunny and Big Rog, but morality and manhood mean absolutely nothing at all. You are still owed. Big time.
