THANK YOU 10.19.13

We would like to thank everyone who helped with or attended last week’s Rougher Homecoming Festival in downtown Muskogee. We had a huge turnout and everyone had loads of fun. We would like to specifically thank the following people and/or businesses for their time, donation(s) or help: The community and Rougher fans who attended, parents, staff, students, volunteers, schools that participated in the spirit wagon competition, Direct Traffic Control for donating traffic barriers and time, the Castle of Muskogee for the pumpkins, the Muskogee Police Department, all the downtown businesses between Second and Third Street on Broadway, Pizza Inn, Candy Craze, SpaceWalk-Muskogee, Mayhlons, MHS Rougher Store, Shelly Chitwood, Wendy Burton, Mark Colvin and Shelley Sinnett.

On behalf of the Fort Gibson School District, we would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the Cherokee Nation and the nursing staff: Jackie Stone, Carrissa McMurtrey, Stephanie Kemp, and Bobbie Stamps for your generosity in support of the Fort Gibson community flu shot program. Your personal commitment was incredibly helpful and allowed us to provide 832 people with flu vaccines. Your assistance means so much to us, but even more to the staff and community of Fort Gibson.
