There’s got to be an answer for all the little stray cats and dogs running around and puppies and kittens being dumped. And the only answer I see is people need to spay/neuter their pets. People call for us to take their dog or cat’s babies. And if you say this wouldn’t have happened if they had been fixed; the answer I get is well, I was going too, I will now, I really doubt it. Is it lack of education, or caring, or just not being a responsible pet owner?
We just took in a sweet little (looks full blood Cocker) tiny puppy that was dumped in a ditch. What is wrong with people, this little fella can’t hardly eat by himself, let alone make it on his own. He would have been out in the cold and still should have been with his mom. Shame on you for being so cruel dumping a sweet little puppy, I pray his mama is OK and that you spay her.
Another sad thing is all the dogs on chains. I’ve seen them never off the chain, no human love or attention, standing in water or snow or mud and all hunched up trying to stay warm. Owners that do their dogs like this need to be done this way and see if they don’t change their minds on the chain thing. How sad and shameful you are for not caring any more than that for God’s little creatures. My answer to this is please don’t get a dog and put it on a chain if it can’t be part of your family. Just don’t get one. That’s why we require a fenced back yard so they can run and play and be safe, without being on a chain all their lives.
With that said remember don’t get a pet without spaying or neutering and let them be a part of your family. This teaches your children, our next generation, compassion, love and respect of animals which is how it should be, it was God’s wishes.
