THE PEOPLE SPEAK — Learn why shoppers leave Muskogee

Here we go again, got a problem, throw money at it, $40,000 here, $60, there $80, etc. all to outsiders. They tell us what we stupid Okies from Muskogee have said all along. Now spend a million dollars to tell my wife and me to buy here. Why not spend about $2,500 and send a survey in the water bill with a self-addressed and posted-paid envelopes and let the people tell you why they shop in Tulsa. It just might not be the customers who's responsible for this dilemma.

Five million dollars of ads will not make my wife buy something in Muskogee that will not fit or she doesn’t like it because of no choice. Lets use the money for progress like building up downtown, not tearing it down! By the way, we do buy in Muskogee when we can.
