THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Support Dobbins for Cherokee Council

— My family and I are very impressed with Dr. Mike Dobbins, a candidate in the District 4 Cherokee Council runoff on July 27. His vision for the Cherokee Nation includes much needed job initiatives in many different areas. The Muskogee and surrounding areas need additional jobs to ensure economic growth — Mike will work for these jobs and keep us updated on the issues.

Other visions Mike and I share are the need for assisted living centers for our elders and additional funding for our youth to attend college or technical school. Our elders need another choice besides nursing homes as they age. The opportunity to live in a community that provides assistance but allows you to keep your independence at an affordable cost is essential for us baby boomers as we age. Our young adults need help in getting the education that will qualify them for the job market of today. The Cherokee Nation needs to make sure our young people are being trained in the fields where there are job opportunities available to work for the Cherokee Nation.

Mike is an independent candidate without ties to any political group. He is a man of experience and exhibits the leadership skills needed to help lead a successful council. Please join me in voting for Mike Dobbins for District 4 Cherokee Council!

Wado.
