I see in Tuesday’s Phoenix (3/25/2014) where an ethics committee is checking out Congressman Mullin. Please note that our founding fathers created that type of congressman, citizen legislators, not lifetime congressmen. Our founding fathers set it up that those who were in office were to serve two or so terms in office, then return to their former occupation, i. e. cabinetmakers, farmers, etc., not to stay in office for a lifetime, as Sen. Ted Kennedy, etc.
America was founded on the principle of citizen legislators. Those who think one should stay in office for a lifetime are incorrect.
As you remember, Sen. Coburn was challenged for his returning to his district and delivering babies when he was away from Washington. Coburn and Mullin are the type of people we need in Washington.
