OU HEADED TO NCAA – The Oklahoma men’s golf team posted a final round 293 for a three-round total of 860 on Saturday to finish third at the NCAA Eugene Regional to qualify for next week’s NCAA Men’s Championship.

Stanford won the regional with 853 with Oregon coming in second at 854.

Individually, three Sooners claimed top-10 finishes in Beau Titsworth, Michael Gellerman and Charlie Saxon. Titsworth grabbed seventh place with a 4-over 214 while Gellerman and Saxon tied for eighth place at 215.

Michael Schoolcraft finished with 211, good for 31st place while Max McGreevy was one shot back of Schoolcraft at 222.

OSU, ARKANSAS GO ONE, TWO – Oklahoma States golf team closed with a final round 272 to win the NCAA Columbia Regional on Saturday.

Arkansas, who was tied with OSU heading into the final round, finished second with an 836 tally, while Missouri, LSU and Iowa State secured the regional’s other three qualifying spots.

The Cowboys produced two of the tournament’s runners-up with Talor Gooch and Jordan Niebrugge each posting 206 totals. Wyndham Clark finished in a tie for 11th at 210 while Ian Davis tied for 17th at 212 and Zachary Olsen came in 38th at 219.

For the Razorbacks, Kolton Crawford led the way finishing fifth with a 208 total, setting a school record for a 54-hole total. Sebastian Cappelen and Nicolas Echavarria tied for sixth at 209 with Taylor Moore finishing in a tie forr 11th at 210.

NSU WOMAN FINISHES 23RD – Freshman Baylee Price finished with a four-day total of 19-over 303 to finish in a tie for 23rd at the NCAA Division II Women’s Championships on Saturday in Conover, N.C.

Price finished 16 strokes behind individual champion Louise Manalo of Lynn University (287). Lynn also won the team portion of the tournament at 1,164 with Barry coming in second at 1,193.
