STILLWATER — Tyree Griffin, a point guard at Landry-Walker High School in New Orleans, La.,  signed a National Letter of Intent with Oklahoma State on Wednesday.

Described by Cowboys coach Travis Ford as a “dynamic point guard who affects the game on both ends of the court,” the 5-foot-9 Griffin was selected the Lousiana Large Schools Player of the Year by the New Orleans Times-Picayune as a senior, as well as the top-rated player in the state of Louisiana according to NOLA.com’s “Terrific 20”.

Griffin averaged 17.2 points, six assists and 5.6 rebounds per game in leading the Chargin’ Bucs to the Louisiana 4A title.
