CONNORS 4-5, ROSE ST. 3-2 – The Connors State Cowboys improved to 30-3 on the year with the sweep of Rose State as Justin Ferrell (2-0) got the win in relief in game one while Kelvin Revis (3-1) scattered three hits with five strikeouts in six innings to get the win in the nightcap.

NORTHWOOD 8-2, BACONE 1-4 – Bacone scored three runs in the second inning of game two and held for the win, earning a split in its doubleheader with Northwood on Saturday. Tony Mendez drove in three of the Warriors’ (28-11, 17-3 RRAC) four runs in the nightcap while he was 2-for-3 and drove in Bacone’s only run in the opener.

TEXAS 1, OU 0 – Texas (17-12, 3-5) handed Oklahoma (26-6, 6-2) its first shutout loss of the season to even the weekend series at Disch-Falk Field in Austin, Texas, on Saturday. Oklahoma starter Dillon Overton (6-2) struck out six and gave up just one run from five hits. Texas

OSU 14, KANSAS 3 – Oklahoma State (22-7, 4-3) evened its series against Kansas (17-12, 4-4) as the Cowboys cruised to a win at Hoglund Ballpark in Lawrence, Kan., on Saturday.

ALABAMA 5, ARKANSAS 0 – Brett Booth homered and drove in two runs, while Alabama starter Spencer Turnbull tossed seven scoreless innings as the Crimson Tide defeated Arkansas in the series finale on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Ala..

NSU 11-8, LINDENWOOD 9-20 – The Northeastern State baseball team split a doubleheader with Lindenwood on Saturday in Tahlequah with Eufaula’s Trevor Walch earning his fifth save of the season in the first game, preserving the win for Craig George (4-3) who allowed eight runs on 13 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Softball

BACONE 11-5, HUSTON TILLOTSON 7-4 – Keri Schmidt hit a walk-off, two-run home run in the seventh inning to give the Bacone Lady Warriors a doubleheader sweep of Huston-Tillotson on Saturday.

NEO 4-3, CONNORS 3-2 – Northeastern A&M defeated Connors State twice in Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference softball play on Saturday.

OU 9, BAYLOR 3 – Oklahoma rallied from a 3-0 deficit after two innings to secure the win over Baylor, the team’s largest comeback victory of the year.

TU 8-3, ECU 0-1 – Caitlin Everett tallied four hits on the day, Lacey Middlebrooks pitched a shutout and Aimee Creger struck out 11 batters to lead the Tulsa softball team to two wins at East Carolina on Saturday.

ISU 8, OSU 6 – The Cowgirls rallied for five runs in the top of the seventh, but it was not enough as OSU dropped its second game of the series to Iowa State on Saturday in Ames, Iowa.

ARKANSAS 4, LSU 3 – The Razorbacks earned a comeback victory over the LSU Tigers on Saturday as Stephanie Canfield delivered a two-out, game-winning, single in the bottom of the seventh to give Arkansas the win.
