MISSOURI WESTERN 6, NSU 4; MISSOURI 16, NSU 4 – The RiverHawks fell to 2-4 on the season, dropping both games at Missouri Western (4-3) in the MIAA opener for both schools.

OU 9, CITADEL 7 – The Sooners overcame an early three-run deficit and two rain delays, totaling two hours and 56 minutes, to beat The Citadel in the opener of the UCF Tournament on Friday to improve to 5-1 on the year.

OSU 3, OAKLAND 2 – Dominant relief pitching and timely hitting lifted Oklahoma State to a win over Oakland on Friday in Stillwater.

ARKANSAS 6, E. ILLINOIS 2 – Arkansas (4-0) earned a victory over Eastern Illinois (1-4) in the series opener on Friday in Fayetteville, Ark., scoring all its runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings.

TEXAS TECH 3, ORAL ROBERTS 2 – Logan Domenico was 4-for-4 with two doubles but it wasn’t enough as the Oral Roberts left 10 runners on base and fell at Texas Tech on Friday.

CONNORS 15, N. ARKANSAS 2; CONNORS 12, N. ARKANSAS 0 – Vian grad Chelsie Drew was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 in both games, with four runs batted in the nightcap, to lead the Cowgirls (6-0) to a sweep on Friday in Warner.

OSU SPLITS AT PALM SPRINGS – The Cowgirls won their first game on Friday, beating BYU 6-5 in eight innings before falling to University of the Pacific 5-4. Hilldale grad Danielle Riddle led the way against BYU, going 3-for-5 with an RBI.

OU 11, NORTHWESTERN 9 – The Sooners rallied from a six-run deficit with six in the sixth inning and two in the seventh to beat Northwestern in Palm Springs, Calif., on Friday.

TU 1, KENNESAW ST. 0; TU 6, KENNESAW ST. 1 – The Golden Hurricane scored four runs in the first three innings of the nightcap on their way to a sweep at Kennesaw St. on Friday. Tahlequah ex Erica Sampson was 1-for-2 in the game with two RBIs and one run scored.

NO-HITTER HIGHLIGHTS ARKANSAS’ DAY – Arkansas posted two run-rule wins Friday at the FGCU/Four Points tournament in Fort Meyers, Fla., downing Eastern Michigan, 13-0, behind a no-hitter from Grace Moll scoring a school-record 20 runs in a 20-1 victory over North Dakota.

OSU 29, ARIZONA St. 10 – Oklahoma State won seven bouts on Friday en route to defeating Arizona State on Friday in Stillwater. The Cowboys (10-5) earned four bonus-point wins on the night.
