OKLAHOMA ST. 8, TEXAS 3 – Oklahoma State recorded its fifth-straight Big 12 Conference series win with a triumph over Texas in Sunday’s series finale in Austin, Texas. With the win, the Cowboys improved to 31-13 overall and maintained their first-place standing in the Big 12 at 13-5. Craig McConaughy continued his hot hitting, leading the Cowboys with a 3-for-4 day at the plate that included a career-high three RBIs. On the mound, Vince Wheeland improved to 5-0 on the year with the win.

TEXAS TECH 14, OKLAHOMA 4 – Oklahoma scored first in every game of the series, but was swept after a loss at Texas Tech on Sunday. The Sooners have dropped five in a row and are now 25-20 overall and 5-10 in the Big 12, while the Red Raiders improved to 35-13 and 11-7. Ralph Garza Jr. made his first start of the season and went three-plus innings, falling to 5-2 on the season. Kolbey Carpenter went 2-for-3, while Mac James and Craig Aikin each went 2-for-4.

ORAL ROBERTS 17, TAM-CC 6 – Big innings to start the game lifted the Oral Roberts as the Golden Eagles run-ruled the Islanders of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 17-6 on Sunday. ORU moved to 23-20 on the season and 10-11 in Southland Conference action.Anthony Sequeira went 5-5 in the game, with a double, two RBIs and scored four runs scored while Logan Domenico picked up four hits, drove in two and scored twice and Tyler Boss drove in five and scored twice on three hits.


TULSA 9, MID. TENN. ST. 4 – Caitlin Sill pitched six solid innings and Julie Kernen, Emma Horton and Haley Henshaw each contributed two RBIs to lead Tulsa past Middle Tennessee on Sunday. Haskell grad Jodi Edmiston was 1-for-3 with a run scored as the Golden Hurricane improve to 45-5, 18-2 in Conference USA.

OKLAHOMA 6, UAB 4 – The Sooners (39-10) completed a three-game sweep of UAB (29-23) with a victory on Sunday. The win over the Blazers, who entered the game with an RPI of 33, pushes OU’s non-conference winning streak to 10 games. Georgia Casey and Destinee Martinez each went 3-4 to lead the OU offense. Taylor Dewbery, who was making the first start of her career, struck out two and allowed four runs on seven hits in four innings to improve her record to 3-0 on the season.

TEXAS 3, OSU 0 –  The Cowgirls dropped the rubber match of a three-game series against Texas on Sunday in Austin, Texas. The three hits on the day for the Cowgirls (25-23, 5-11) came from Tiffany Mikkelson who had lead off singles in the top of the fourth and sixth innings, and Shelby Davis, who led the seventh off with a base hit down the left field line.
