BACONE 8-1, OUR LADY OF LAKE 7-9 — A seven-run sixth inning, fueled by a grand slam by Karina Watson, put Bacone (10-17, 9-6 RRAC) up 7-3. OLL matched them with a grand slam to send it to extra innings then Tarah Moutray won it for the Lady Warriors with an RBI single in the eighth to win the opener. OLL took control early in the second game for the split.

NSU 9-7, SW BAPTIST 1-0 — The RiverHawks scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning of the first game en route to the doubleheader sweep at RiverHawks Park.

Muskogee ex Madison Reed and Kelsi Hilderbrandt had two hits each, while Sequoyah grad Saharra Henson and Amanda Harjo both scored twice in the opener.

In the second game, Megan Robison and Pogue led NSU with two RBIs each. Winning pitcher Kayce Wooldridge (4-9) threw a complete game four-hitter.

OSU 2-4, TEXAS TECH 1-1 — Oklahoma State won two games in its Big 12 Conference series opener on Saturday, beating Texas Tech 2-1 in 10 innings in the resumption of Friday’s rain-delayed contest and then winning 4-1 in the regularly scheduled game to win the series.

TULSA 7, UCF 0 — Aimee Creger pitched a one-hit hitter and Tulsa (29-7-1, 9-0 C-USA) scored seven runs in the fifth inning to complete its Conference USA series sweep of Central Florida at the Collins Family Softball Complex.
