OU 2, TEXAS 1 — The Sooners (26-5, 6-1) snapped a three-game losing streak to the Longhorns but Matt Oberste had his 30-game hitting streak snapped. Jonathan Gray was the winning pitcher.

KANSAS 7, OSU 5 — Playing away from Stillwater for the first time since Feb. 17, the 19th-ranked Cowboys fell behind by seven runs after four innings and a late comeback bid fell short as they dropped to 21-7 overall and 3-3 in Big 12 Conference play.

ARKANSAS 6, ALABAMA 0 — Ryne Stanek and Michael Gunn combined on a four-hit shutout as No. 12 Arkansas clinched its weekend series against Alabama with the victory in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

NORTHWOOD 4, BACONE 2 — Estevan Hernandez drove in two runs as the Knights beat the Warriors to start their Red River Athletic Conference series at Bacone’s Warrior Field. Bacone drops to 27-10 overall and 16-2 in the conference.

CONNORS 14-8, ROSE STATE 4-5 — Connors State (28-3) opened Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference play Friday with a doubleheader sweep of Rose State College by pounding out 27 base hits.
