Late rally gives 66ers victory

TULSA – The Tulsa 66ers spurred a fourth-quarter comeback to take down the Texas Legends 91-89 on Sunday at the SpiritBank Event Center behind Daniel Orton’s 24 points and 12 rebounds.

Orton, currently on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, recorded a double-double for the second consecutive game. Fellow OKC assignee DeAndre Liggins scored eight points while dishing out seven assists and grabbing four boards.

After the Legends (0-2) led for a majority of the game, Tulsa (2-0) fought back in the final minutes to secure their second straight win. Andy Rautins led the effort with 10 fourth-quarter points, ending the night with 16 points and shooting 4-for-6 from behind the 3-point arc. Brady Morningstar posted nine points in the final quarter to also total 16 on the night.
