Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tulsa learn of tournament schedule

Oklahoma was named the top seed while Arkansas and Tulsa received at-large bids as the NCAA announced the 64-team field for the Division I softball championship tournament on Sunday.

Oklahoma (47-4) and Arkansas (34-18) were both placed in the Norman Regional. Arkansas plays Fordham (35-21) at 5 p.m. Friday while the Sooners take on Marist (30-24) in the second game.

Tulsa (42-14) head to the Lincoln Regional and meet Stanford (37-19) at 4 p.m. Friday. The second game of the regional pits host Nebraska (40-13) against Northern Iowa (26-24) at 7 p.m.
