— CONNORS POSTPONED – Connors State’s game on Friday with Northeastern A&M at Biff Thompson Field was postponed and has been rescheduled as a doubleheader at 2 p.m. Sunday.

SOONERS SUSPENDED – Jake Fisher had a career night on his first start, leading Oklahoma to an 8-0 lead over Texas Tech on Friday in Norman before lightning suspended play. The game will resume in the top of the ninth at noon today.

OSU 4, RUTGERS 1 – A two-out rally in the bottom of the sixth inning propelled Oklahoma State to a win over Rutgers in the opening round of the TD Ameritrade Classic at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb., on Friday. Mark Robinette picked up the win on the mound to improve to 4-0 as the junior right-hander worked six scoreless innings and tied a career-high with seven strikeouts.

ARKANSAS 2, GEORGIA 0 –  Barrett Astin and Colby Suggs combined on a six-hit shutout as Arkansas opened its series at Georgia with a on Friday in Athens, Ga. Arkansas improves to 28-15 overall and 12-7 in Southeastern Conference play, while Georgia is now 16-27 and 4-15 in league play.
