CHECOTAH 6, OKTAHA 0 — Winning pitcher Kameron Elerick (2-0) struck out 10 batters in tossing a five-inning no-hitter against the Tigers. The Wildcats improved to 7-2 for the season.

Caleb Knight slugged his second home run of the season with a two-run shot, doubled twice and drove in three runs. Trey Blankenship had two hits and scored twice.

WARNER 10, GORE 4 — Tim Smithson, Cody Coffman and Shilo Bullard combined for five hits and five RBIs as the Eagles improved to 7-1 for the season to win the Okay Tournament.

Smithson and Bullard each had two singles, while Smithson and Coffman drove in two runs each. Levi Jones (3-0) struck out six batters to improve to 3-0.

Losing pitcher Cole Keathley singled twice and drove in a run as the Pirates dropped to 8-2. Logan Ohl added two singles.

VIAN FESTIVAL — In a battle of top 10 Class 3A teams, the host and No. 8 Wolverines beat No. 5 Spiro 10-6  as Riley Simon had two hits in three trips and drove in five runs. Dan Weir also had two hits and John Andrews (3-0) scattered six hits over five innings. Vian’s Shawn Troutman (3-0) struck out 16 in a two-hit shutout of Okemah. Landon Decker singled in Warren Zachary, who reached base on a two-out bunt single. Vian had three hits in moving to 8-1 heading into Thursday’s game in the Ripley Tournament against Mulhall Orlando.
